Workshop application

Pure Hemp Oil is a 100% natural, food-safe, zero-VOC oil with no additives or petrochemicals, making it an excellent choice for timber finishes, chalk paint sealing, and even skin care. Cold-pressed from cannabis sativa spp., this versatile oil nourishes and protects surfaces without harmful chemicals.

Product Sizes
Available in 250ml and 1L bottles.

Used For
Timber finishes, sealing chalk paint, and skin care products.

Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean and dust-free. If applying over chalk paint, allow the paint to dry for at least 12 hours before using the oil.

Application to Raw Timber
Hemp oil initially deepens the color of the timber (like a wet look) but lightens as it cures. Apply sparingly using a lint-free rag, paintbrush, or sponge. Let the oil soak in for 12 hours before applying additional coats. For high-wear areas like chairs or tabletops, apply up to three coats. The finish can be buffed for a gentle lustre.

Dry Time
Dries in 12 hours, but allow up to 30 days for full curing. Gentle use is acceptable before full curing.

Maintenance
Reapply as needed when the surface looks faded or dry, typically every two years.

Clean Up
Use warm, soapy water or a solvent like Gilly’s Citrus Thin.

Safety
Hang rags out to dry or soak in water to prevent combustion. For safety data, contact Gilly’s.
