Loved by carvers around the world, Morakniv knives are made in Sweden with over 130 years of know-how behind them. The 120C features a high-carbon steel blade that’s slightly more rigid than laminated versions—great for beginners and seasoned carvers alike, especially for indoor work.
The edge is razor-sharp thanks to Morakniv’s famously precise heat treatment (a trade secret), and the steel is hardened to HRc 58–60 for long-lasting performance.
The oiled birch handle is deliberately oversized—reshape it, texture it, or carve your initials in so it never walks off at the workshop.
Please note: Carbon steel needs care to prevent rust. Wipe the blade after each use and apply a light coat of oil—camelia oil is a great option.
