Gilly's® LoThin 1L

Gilly's LoThin is a highly refined, dearomatised mineral solvent with eucalyptus oils, designed as a safer alternative for thinning oils and waxes, surface preparation, and cleaning brushes and tools. With lower flammability than traditional solvents, it provides a safer working environment while delivering excellent cleaning and thinning performance.

Uses

• Thinner for tung oil, linseed oil, waxes, polishes, and more
• Surface prep: removes oil, grease, wax, polishes, dirt, and soil from timber and metal
• General degreaser and cleaner
• Solvent for brushes, tools, parts, and stainless steel

Surface Preparation
Apply LoThin to clean off oil, grease, wax, or dirt. Let sit for 5-10 minutes on tough spots, then clean with a suitable pad or steel wool. Repeat if necessary.

Application for Oils
Start with a 50/50 ratio when thinning oils like tung or linseed oil and adjust as needed.

For Waxes & Polishes
LoThin softens waxes and polishes, making them easier to apply, especially for older, hardened products.

Brush & Tool Cleaning
Wipe down tools and soak brushes in LoThin to clean thoroughly.
