Workshop application
This tung oil-based finish is perfect for outdoor timber and furniture, offering added UV protection to withstand Australia's harsh sunlight. Best suited for sheltered timber areas like alfresco spaces, verandas, or under shade cloth, it seals timber and protects it from water damage. Ideal for both new and weathered timber, this natural oil formula revives wood without the need for lacquer or silicone, ensuring easier maintenance and a beautiful finish.
Use For
Ideal for alfresco timber, outdoor furniture, timber trims, frames, tables, and window sills.
Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean and dry. Use D-limonene or turpentine for a thorough clean, as any residue may affect the oil's curing process.
Application
Apply in light coats, allowing the oil to soak for 5 minutes before wiping off excess. Repeat for each coat, applying up to 3 coats with a 24-hour drying time between each.
Maintenance
Easily reapply as needed without sanding. For upkeep, reapply 1-2 coats every 6-12 months.
Clean Up
Use D-limonene or mineral turpentine for cleanup.
