Gun Polish is a fast-drying surface finish made from a rich blend of carnauba wax and beeswax. It’s soft and easy to apply, hardening quickly to produce a beautiful, high-sheen finish. Ideal for both the stock and barrel of firearms, this polish enhances the surface with a durable, glossy layer.
Use For
A surface finish for both the stock and barrel of firearms.
Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and previously waxed or oiled. This polish is not suitable for raw timber.
How to Apply
Apply sparingly with a clean, lint-free cloth, using a circular motion. Buff vigorously with a soft cloth or buffing pads. Apply up to three coats, allowing 20-30 minutes between each coat, and buff well after each.
Dry Time
Dries in 20 minutes when excess wax is wiped away.
Maintenance
Reapply as needed when the waxed area becomes dull or faded.
Clean Up
Use warm, soapy water for hands and cloths. For excess wax on timber, use a cloth dampened with d-Limonene or mineral turpentine.
This polish provides a protective, high-sheen finish, perfect for maintaining and enhancing firearms.
