Beeswax Floor Polish is a soft, penetrating polish designed to nourish dry timber floors while buffing to a natural sheen. Made from beeswax, this polish provides deep hydration and enhances the beauty of raw timber floorboards.
Use For
Ideal for raw timber floorboards to nourish and protect or for repairs to worn areas on existing coated floor boards.
Surface Preparation
Ensure the timber is well sanded and smooth. For best results, apply a sanding sealer before waxing to reduce the amount of wax needed.
How to Apply
- Using a soft, lint-free cloth, apply a small amount of wax and rub into the timber along the grain.
- Buff any excess with a clean cloth or buffing pads.
- Apply up to three coats, especially for porous timber, buffing well between each coat. Wait an hour between coats for the wax to absorb properly.
- If using an electric polisher, apply a small amount of wax directly to the brushes and spread it over the floor. Buff using soft brush fittings or buffing pads.
Dry Time
Dries in 30 minutes. Ensure the surface is touch dry and free of fingerprints before applying the next coat.
Maintenance
Reapply as needed when the floor becomes dull or dry.
Clean Up
Use warm, soapy water for hands and cloths. For excess wax on timber, dampen a cloth with mineral turpentine.
This beeswax-based polish leaves timber floors nourished, protected, and with a soft, natural sheen.
